As the General Directorate of Youth Services, which is the Central Organization Unit within the Ministry of Youth and Sports, we have youth centers with a total number of 310 in 81 provinces and more than 3 million registered members. We bring together many opportunities for young people to use their free time efficiently, to contribute to their personal development, to develop active citizenship awareness and to support them in line with In addition, our 38 camps throughout the General Directorate attached to our plant in Turkey and we serve approximately 4,000 young people in our camp leader, our youth camps. Our young people coming together from different cultures all over Turkey participates to sea and nature activities, cultural, artistic, sporting activities in these camps. In our camps where non-formal education methodologies are used, we offer our youth opportunities to contribute to their personal development and skills in many areas. Approximately 120 thousand young people benefit from our youth camps every year. As the Ministry, we are in an effort to bring services to all points in 81 provinces by considering the principle of equal opportunity and the responsibility and awareness of serving the youth with public resources. For this purpose, we also carry out activities and opportunities in our youth centers with our mobile youth centers. We actively involve young people in decision-making processes and ensure that they have a voice in youth policies. We always work with young people in policy development processes, project development and execution processes. Our youth centers in the provinces work in line with the needs, wishes and demands of local youth and plan their work together with young people. In the workshops of our youth centers, it offers a voluntary work environment to our youth based on the principle of “working with young people for young people”.
